How do you graph #y=sin(x + (pi/2) )#?

The above answer is correct, but luckily for us, there's already another function for this: cosine!

The cosine function is just the sine function shifted over by #pi/2#!

Sine function:
graph{sin(x) [-10, 10, -5, 5]}
Cosine function:
graph{cos(x) [-10, 10, -5, 5]}

If #y = sin(x+pi/2)#, then #y = cos(x)#
