How do you graph #y = (1/2)sin(x - pi)#?

What you must first do is plug specific values of x into the function #f(x)=sin(x-pi)# to produce the results 0, 1, 0, -1, 0. Once you've done this, plot the graph #f(x)=sin(x-pi)#. You should have desirable x and y coordinates.

Once you have the graph #f(x)=sin(x-pi)#, you simply have to produce another graph similar to it but with the appropriate adjustments.

What you want to do is multiply the y coordinates of your #f(x)=sin(x-pi)# graph by 1/2. If you do this you'll end up with new coordinates that you must use in your #f(x)=1/2sin(x-pi)# graph...

Your final graph should look similar to this...
