Length of the arc is $3.14 cm$

Let $CD=3 cm$ be the chord of the arc. $O$ be the centre of the circle, $OC=OD=r=3cm$ .

The triangle OCD is equilateral triangle.
So the angles of the triangle are of $60^0$ each.

The arc CD subtends $60^0$ angle at the centre.
