Simplify both sides by expanding the terms; then perform basic arithmetic on both sides (that doesn't involve reversing the sign), to get to get #x > 2#

#6 -3x > 8 -4x#

#color(white)("XXXX")#Add #4x# and then subtract #6# from both sides
#x > 2#
