Plot the intercept points and draw a straight line through the points.

Given $y=x+7$

The y-intercept (point where $x=0$ ) occurs as a solution to $y=0+7$ i.e. at $y=7$

Similarly, the x-intercept (where $y=0$ ) at $x=-7$
