Accelaration/deceleration is according to the formula:
Deltav=axxt->a=Deltav//t,
where Deltav=change in speed, a=acceleration, t=time

Explanation:

Fill in what we know:
Deltav=-5.8m//s (negative because of slowing down)
t=0.059s

So a=(-5.8)/0.059~~-98.3m//s^2 (the - is for decelaration).

Note:
If you're familiar with the term g-force, this amounts to about 10xxg, which only trained fighter pilots can stand (for a short time) without losing consciousness.
