Properties of Intermolecular Bonds
Key Questions
-
An intramolecular force is the force between atoms of a molecule, holding them together. When an atom form to join a molecule, they are held by chemical bonds. There are three types of bonds that can exist within a molecule, for ex:
- Covalent Bond (between non-metal atoms)
- Ionic Bond (between metal and non-metal atoms)
- Metallic Bond (Metal atoms only)
