#y - 6 = x - 4#

Explanation:

Point - slope form of equation is #y - y_1 = m (x - x_1)#

Given #(x_1 = 4, y_1 = 6, x_2 = 5, y_2 = 7)#

We know two points. Now we have to find the slope “m”.

#m = (y_2 - y_1) / (x_2 - x_1)#

#m = (7-6) / (5-4) = 1#

Hence point - slope form of equation is #y - 6 = 1 * (x - 4)#

#y - 6 = x - 4# or #y - 7 = x - 5# both the equations are same.
