An undefined slope indicates that we have a vertical line parallel to the y-axis and passing through all points in the plane with an x-coordinate = constant ( c) The equation is written in the form x = c.

In this case the line passes through (-2 ,-6) and therefore the constant is the value of the x-coordinate. That is - 2.

Hence the equation of the line is x = - 2
