f(x) = -4

Explanation:

A straight line which has a slope of 0 is a horizontal line.
Therefore the x value has no effect on the line at all,
The y value will always be -4.

In standard form : #y = mx +c#
This becomes #y = 0x -4 rArr y =-4#

y =f(x). However this is not really a function of #x#, because there is no x term,

The value of y will always be -4, regardless of which value of x is used.

f(x) = -4
