How do you write an equation for the line in point-slope form and in slope-intercept form x-intercept = -1/2 and y-intercept 2?

x-intercept #=-1/2# means #(-1/2,0)# is a point on the line.
y-intercept #=2# means #(0,2)# is a point on the line.

The slope of the line is therefore
#(2-0)/(0-(-1/2)) = 4#

Using #(0,2)# as our point for the point-slope form we have
#(y-2) = 4(x-0)#

In slope-intercept form, that becomes
#y=4x + 2#
