How do you graph y+8=0?

First, make y by itself by subtracting color(blue)8 from both sides of the equation:
y + 8 quadcolor(blue)(-quad8) = 0 quadcolor(blue)(-quad8)

y = -8

Since there is no "x" in the equation, that means that y is a constant and it is always -8.

As you can see, y is always -8, no matter what the x value is.
