Since #y=5/4x+2# is a linear equation, we only need to find two solution coordinates; plot them and draw a line through them.

Explanation:

#y=5/4x+2# is a linear equation (in slope-intercept form, although I won't particularly use this information)

As long as we pick values of #x# that are multiples of #4#, we we obtain integer values for #y# (which should make the plotting easier).

The values of #x# that I decided to use are #0# and #4# giving the #(x,y)# solution points #(0,2)# and #(4,7)#

Plotting these points and drawing a line through them produced the image:
