The coefficient of #x# is the gradient / slope of the line, in this case the gradient is #-3/7#, to plot a second point on the graph move along the #x#-axis by #3# then go along the #y#-axis by #-7#, the negative means go down on the #y#-axis. So plot a point at #(3,-7)#.

Now that we have a point at #(0,1/7)# and #(3,-7)#, connect the points drawing a straight line.
