How do you graph the function f(x)=4x-2?

Since f(x)=4x-2 a couple randomly selected data points (e.g. for x=0 and x=1) are sufficient; mark the points on the Cartesian plane and draw a straight line through them.

Explanation:

color(white)("XXXX") {: (x,color(white)("XX"),f(x)), (0,color(white)("XX"),-2), (1,color(white)("XX"),2), (2,color(white)("XX"),6) :}
note that the third point isn't necessary but I suggest including one for verification purposes.
graph{4x-2 [-2, 2, -3., 3]}
