Assuming the equation form we are looking for is linear
then the slope is constant

Slope between the general point #(x,y)# and #(-6,2)# is the same as between #(-3,4)# and #(-6,2)#

#(y-2)/(x+6) = (4-2)/(-3+6) = 2/3#

#rArr 3y-6 = 2x+12#
