How do you find ordered pairs that is a solution for the equation 4x – 3y = 12?

There are many .. (6,4)(9,8) etc

Explanation:

First change the equation into an easier form:
3y=4x12
y=43x4

Now choose values of x and substitute to find y.

However, it will be easier to use multiples of 3 for values of x.

eg. If x=6, then y=43×64=4 (6,4)

If x=9, then y=43×94=8 (9,8) and so on.
