Explanation:

This is a special case of the equation in that m = 0.

Since the line has no slope it is horizontal and parallel to the x-axis, passing through all points in the plane with the same y-coordinate.

It's equation is of the form y = c , where c is the value of the y-coordinate.

Here the line passes through (1 ,- 1) with y-coord = -1

Hence equation of line is y = -1
