=(2y+3)(3y-2)

Explanation:

I HATE this method, but here goes..

The term in the middle has to be split into two terms.
TO find them, first multiply 6 xx 6 = 36

Find which pair of factors has a difference of+ 5?

+9-4 =5

So this tell us how to write 5y

6y^2 +9y -4y -6

=3y(2y +3) + 2(-2y -3)

=3y(2y +3) - 2(2y+3)

=(2y+3)(3y-2)
