The answer is : $y = 1.2 x - 0.2$ $y = 1.2x -0.2$

Any linear function has the following form : $y = m x + b$ $y = mx + b$ , where $m$ $m$ is the slope.

So if $m = 1.2$ $m = 1.2$ , you have :

$y = 1.2 x + b$ $y = 1.2x + b$

Since you have the point $(x, y) = (1, 1)$ $(x,y) = (1,1)$ , you can find $b$ $b$ by solving the above equation :

$y = 1.2 x + b \Rightarrow 1 = 1.2 \cdot 1 + b \Rightarrow b = - 0.2$ $y = 1.2x + b => 1 = 1.2*1+b => b=-0.2$

Now you have your answer :
