Where does the light go when we switch off the light bulb?
Honestly, I don't know much about the photons except that they are mass-less particles that carry energy.(following the law #E=mc^2# )
But still please answer my question.

The filament of bulb gets heated and emit radiation in visible light and infra red waves..THis is due to the current heating the nichrome wire due to its resistance..
Explanation:
When supply is stopped( Switch off no current flow and so no heating.no radiation. So no light.
Inside the electric current energy is converted into heat and light energy. When filament of bulb gets heated it emits photons..
