When you square my value and subtract it from 23, the result is the square root of 36. I am an irrational number. What is my number?

The numbers are $\sqrt{17} and \sqrt{29} 2$ $sqrt(17)" and "sqrt(29)" 2$ . As both 17 and 29 are prime numbers their roots are irrational.

Explanation:

Let the value be $v$ $v$

$\to 23 - v^{2} = \sqrt{36}$ $-> 23-v^2=sqrt(36)$

$\to 23 - v^{2} = \pm 6$ $-> 23-v^2=+-6$

$v^{2} = 23 \pm 6$ $v^2=23+-6$

$v = \pm \sqrt{17} or v = \pm \sqrt{29}$ $v=+-sqrt(17) " or "v=+-sqrt(29)$

Both 17 and 29 are prime numbers therefore there roots irrational
