Since it's easy to remember, or to compute, that #30^2=900#, our number will surely be greater than #30#. Also, you don't need to check all the numbers: if a square of a number ends up with #4#, the number can end only with #2# or #8#. So, I tried #32^2# and #38^2#, and I found out that #38# was the right number.
