And note that the "molal boiling point elevation constant" relates to the number of particles in solution...a 0.743*mol*kg^-1 solution is 1.486*mol*kg^-1 with respect to sodium ions, AND chloride ions....i.e. sodium chloride speciates in aqueous solution.
