What is N-(2,2,2-Trichloroethyl)carbonyl] Bisnor-(cis)-tilidine's functional group?

There are several functional groups in N-[(2,2,2)-trichloroethyl]carbonyl-bisnor-cis-tilidine.

The systematic name is ethyl (#1S#,#2R#)-1-phenyl-2-[(2,2,2-trichloroethoxy)carbonylamino]cyclohex-3-enecarboxylate.

Depending on how you count them, there are five functional groups in the molecule.

1. Alkyl halide

These are the three C-Cl bonds.

2. Carbamate

A carbamate functional group has the structure

It looks like an ester and an amide on either side of a carbonyl group. But each group modifies the properties of the other so much that the carbamate group gets its own name as a functional group.

3. Alkene

The C=C double bond in the cyclohexene ring.
