Explanation:
Suppose 3 capacitors of values 22 nF, 220 nF and 2200 nF are all 3 connected in parallel to the same DC source voltage of 20 V. Calculate :
- The total capacitance of the entre circuit.
- The charge stored in each capacitor.

The energy stored in the electric field of the 2200 nF capacitor.

Suppose now that the capacitor network is discharge through a 1 mega 0hm series resistor. Determine the voltage over the resistor, and current through the resistor, exactly 1,5 seconds after discharge begins.

Suppose now that the same 3 parallel capacitors are now placed in parallel with an AC voltage source of RMS value 220 V, frequency 50 Hz. Calculate the total impedance of the circuit as well s the total current drawn from the AC source.
