Have a look:

Set $x=0$ to get: $0+4y=-8$ and $y=-8/4=-2$ . So the y-imtercept will be:
$(0,-2)$

Set $y=0$ to get $x+0=-8$ and $x=-8$ . So the x-intercept will be:
$(-8,0)$

What are the intercepts for x+4y=-8x+4y=-8?
