where #epsilon# is the molar absorptivity of the compound, #l# is the length of the light path and #C# is the concentration of the solution.

From the calibration curve, you can get the slope which is: #slope=epsilonxxl#

Usually, the path length #l=1cm#. Then you can calculate #epsilon#.

Now that you have #A, epsilon and l# you can find the concentration #C=A/(epsilonxxl)#
