y=3.2x is a direct variation equation with a constant of variation = 3.2

Explanation:

Any linear equation of the form:
color(white)("XXX")y=c*x
or
color(white)("XXX")y/x=c
for some constant c is a direct variation equation (with direct variation constant of c).

Another way to look at it:
Any linear equation which passes through the origin, i.e. through (0,0), and is neither a horizontal nor a vertical line
is a direct variation equation with a direct variation constant equal to the slope of the the line.
