Is the sequence 24, 12, 6 a geometric sequence?

The common ratio r is obtained by dividing a term by its preceding term.

The sequence is: 24, 12, 6

1) r_1 = 12/24 =1/2

2) r_2 = 6/12 = 1/2

Since r_1 = r_2 the sequence is geometric.
