The y-intercept is -22, and the point is (0,-2)(0,2). The x-intercept is -66 and the point is (-6,0)(6,0)

To find the y-intercept, set x equal to zero.

x+3y=-6x+3y=6

0+3y=-60+3y=6

3y=-63y=6

y=-6/3y=63

y=-2y=2

To find the x-intercept, set y equal to zero.

x+3y=-6x+3y=6

x+3*0=-6x+30=6

x=-6x=6

graph{x+3y=-6 [-10, 10, -5, 5]}
