The impulse-momentum theorem states that:

"The change in momentum of an object is equal to the impulse applied to it.

This is also an equivalent statement of Newton's second law of motion.

"Impulse"="Applied Force " Fxx"Time " Delta t
"Change in momentum"="Mass " mxx"Change in velocity "Deltav

Equating the two we get
FxxDeltat=mxxDeltav

(A) Plugging in given values we get
"Momentum developed "=200xx10=2000 "N" cdot "s"

B) Change of speed of the particle=2000/2=1000" m"cdot"s"^-1
"Final speed" ="Initial Speed"+1000" m"cdot"s"^-1
