How long do red giants and supergiants last?

Red giants have their size of the order of our sun (from 0.3 times sun to 8 times) and their life may range about a billion years. Larger the size smaller the life. Supergiants have mass from around 10 times the sun and upwards and their life could range from 30 million years down to a few hundred thousand years
