Take, for example, hydrogen bonding. Hydrogen bonding occurs when a hydrogen atom combines with either nitrogen, oxygen, or fluorine (#H_2O#). Hydrogen bonding results in the strongest intermolecular forces, and therefore will always have the highest boiling point.
