= slope expressed in only constants

then rearrange to standard form

#(y-8)/(x-(-3)) = (10-8)/(-6-(-3))#

#(y-8)/(x+3) = -2/3#

#3y-24 = -2x -6#

#3y = -2x +18#

#y = -2/3x + 6#
