Explanation:

Slope intercept form of a linear equation is #y=mx+c#, where #m# is the slope of the line and #c# is intercept on #y# axis.

For converting the linear equation #6x−2y=12# in slope intercept form, we have to transpose terms to get te value of #y#.

Hence, we transpose term containing #x# to RHS, which makes it

#-2y=-6x+12# and for getting value of #y#, let us divide both sides by #-2# and equation becomes

#y=(-6)/(-2)x+12/(-2)# or #y=3x-6#

Hence equation in slope intercept form is #y=3x-6#.
