$3 x^{5} + 4 x^{4} + 2 x^{2} - 1 \div (x + 2)$ $3x^5+4x^4+2x^2-1 div (x+2)$

$= 3 x^{4} - 2 x^{3} + 4 x^{2} - 6 x + 12$ $= 3x^4-2x^3+4x^2-6x+12$
with a Remainder of $- 23$ $-23$
