From first one, $2y=3x-10$

Hence, $5x+3x-10=6$ or $8x=16$ . So $x=2$ .

Thus, $2y=3*2-10$ or $2y=-4$ . So $y=-2$ .

I found $2y$ from first equation and put into second one.
