You can use shortcut. Don't use quadratic formula.
Reminder:
When a + b + c = 0, one real root is (1) and the other is (c/a).
When a - b + c = 0, one real root is (-1) and the other is (-c/a)
Two real roots: 1 and -4 (c/a = -4)
