How do you solve using the quadratic formula for y = 1/2 (x-4)^2 +18?

This equation, in vertex form, doesn't have x-intercepts. So you can't use the quadratic formula to solve y = 0.
Coordinates of vertex (4, 18). Parabola opens upward.
