$x+6y=13$ --- (1)
$4x-5y=5$ --- (2)

From (1),
$x+6y=13$
$x=13-6y$ --- (3)

Sub (3) into (2)
$4(13-6y)-5y=5$
$52-24y-5y=5$
$47=29y$
$y=47/29$ --- (4)

Sub (4) into (3)
$x=13-6y$
$x=13-6(47/29)$
$x=95/29$
