x=(-1)/4x=14
y=(-9)/8y=98

Explanation:

6x-4y=36x4y=3 --------------(1)
5x-2y=15x2y=1 ------------------(2)
Let us have the equations as -

We are going to eliminate yy

Before that understand -4y +4y =04y+4y=0

Multiply equation (2) with -22

6x-4y=36x4y=3 ------------------(1)
-10x+4y=-210x+4y=2 ------------------(2)

Add (1) and (2), we get -

-4x=14x=1
x=(-1)/4x=14

Substitute x=(-1)/4x=14 in equation (1)

6((-1)/4)-4y=36(14)4y=3
(-6)/4-4y=3644y=3
(-3)/2-4y=3324y=3
-4y = 3+3/2=(6+3)/2=9/24y=3+32=6+32=92
y=9/2 xx1/(-4)=(-9)/8y=92×14=98
