x=(-1)/4x=−14
y=(-9)/8y=−98
Explanation:
6x-4y=36x−4y=3 --------------(1)
5x-2y=15x−2y=1 ------------------(2)
Let us have the equations as -
We are going to eliminate
Before that understand
Multiply equation (2) with
6x-4y=36x−4y=3 ------------------(1)
-10x+4y=-2−10x+4y=−2 ------------------(2)
Add (1) and (2), we get -
-4x=1−4x=1
x=(-1)/4x=−14
Substitute
6((-1)/4)-4y=36(−14)−4y=3
(-6)/4-4y=3−64−4y=3
(-3)/2-4y=3−32−4y=3
-4y = 3+3/2=(6+3)/2=9/2−4y=3+32=6+32=92
y=9/2 xx1/(-4)=(-9)/8y=92×1−4=−98
