$-4x-y=-1$ --- (1)
$6x-y=-1$ --- (2)

From (1),
$-4x-y=-1$
$y=1-4x$ --- (3)

Sub (3) into (2)
$6x-(1-4x)=-1$
$6x-1+4x=-1$
$10x=0$
$x=0$ --- (4)

Sub (4) into (3)
$y=1-4(0)$
$y=1$
