Here ,

#3x+2y=2.......to(1)#

#2x+y=-2....to(2)#

#:.y=-2x-2..to(3)#

Substitute value of #y # into#(1)#

#:.3x+2(-2x-2)=2#

#:.3x-4x-4=2#

#:.-x=2+4#

#:.x=-6#

Subst. #x=-6# into#(3)#

#:.y=-2(-6)-2=12-2#

#:.y=10#

Hence , #x=-6 and y=10#
