$x=2$ , $y=0$

You can subtract the two equations, to have

$-2x+2x +5y-3y=4-4$

And thus

$2y=0 \implies y=0$

Once you know that $y=0$ , you can eliminate it from the formula, to get

$-2x=4$ and thus $x=-2$
