#tan theta#=#(-1+-isqrt3)/2#

Write #sec^2 theta = 1+tan^2 theta#, so that given equation becomes #tan^2 theta +tan theta +1=0#. Solving this for #tan theta# we would have #tan theta = (-1+-sqrt(1-4))/2#

=#(-1+-isqrt3)/2#
