Here's how I did it:

#3 = -(c-11)/4#

First, multiply both sides by #4#:
#3 color(red)(*4) = -(c-11)/cancel(4) cancel(color(red)(*4))#

#12 = -(c-11)#

Now distribute the negative sign:
#12 = -c + 11#

Subtract #11# from both sides of the equation:
#12 quadcolor(red)(-quad11) = -c + 11 quadcolor(red)(-quad11)#

#1 = -c#

Divide both sides by #-1# to get the value of #c#:
