Solve for y in one of the equations. Doesn't matter which equation you select but it is in your best interests to pick the simpler looking equation.
I'm going to pick the first equation since the numbers are smaller ( smaller is simpler). We will get $y= 2x-3$

With this equation for y, you now substitute it into the other equation and solve for x.

$3x-(2x-3)=4$

Which reduces to
