now divide both sides by -77.5

#(cancel(-77.5)s)/cancel(-77.5) = 232.5/-77.5 rArr s = - 3#

To make s positive: multiply both sides by (-1)

#775s=-2325#

To 'get s on its own' divide both sides by 775
