How do you solve $2 cos x = \sqrt{2}$ $2 cos x = sqrt(2)$ ?

$cos x = \frac{s q r 2}{2}$ $cos x = (sqr2)/2$

Trig conversion table gives $cos x = cos (Pi/4) --> x = Pi/4$

The trig unit circle gives another arc that has the same cos value:

$x = (7Pi)/4$
